Emails come back to user and go directly to "deleted items"
We are running Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003 as well. We have one particular user who's sent emails return to her later in the day and go directly to her deleted items. The emails DO reach their intended recipient. But.the emails return roughly the same time of day every day. We have checked her rules. We have uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook. we have gone as far as moving her to another computer. Yet the emails still return, even on the second computer. This would lead me to believe that it is a server side issue. But, I have no idea where to look or what to look for. Any help with this crazy problem would be appreciated.

Does the issue appear permanently? Do all sent items return to Deleted item folder? Does the symptom only occur with a specific recipient? Could you create a test mailbox, and send the test mail, see if the issue can be reproduced? Is there any event sink on the exchange server? Could you use Message Tracking Center to monitor the mail flow? Please try to move the problematic mailbox to another store, see if the issue still persists
